**Chapter 61: Kikidori's Big Score**
As chaos erupted in the ballroom, the Straw Hats dashed through the mansion's grand halls, narrowly avoiding the armed guards closing in around them. Their goal was clear: make it back to the Sunny and escape before the entire island's army caught wind of their presence.
"Damn it, Luffy! We can't just run forever!" Zoro grumbled, his hand on the hilt of his sword as he dodged a guard's attack. "We need to get back to the ship."
But just as the crew was about to make their way to the exit, a flicker of movement caught Kikidori's eye. His gaze darted to the side and saw it—**the Royal Castle**—rising above the city, towering and grand with gold-trimmed spires.
"Oooh, shiny!" Kikidori's eyes gleamed as he instantly stopped running and took off in the direction of the castle, his feet light as air.
"What the—Kikidori!" Luffy shouted, turning back as he saw his crew member sprinting in the opposite direction. "Get back here! What are you—"
Kikidori didn't hear a word, already lost in his thoughts as his adrenaline kicked in. He was a pirate, after all, and pirates didn't just *run* from treasure. They *took* it!
With a mischievous grin plastered on his face, Kikidori made his way to the heavily guarded castle entrance, his cloak billowing behind him as he scaled the walls with impressive speed. His agility was unmatched, honed by years of sneaky, street-smart maneuvers.
It didn't take long for him to find an open window on the top floor, where he slipped inside unnoticed. As he crept through the vast, ornately decorated hallways, Kikidori's eyes sparkled. This place was a **goldmine**.
"I'm definitely getting something good today," he muttered to himself, already beginning his 'search.'

Back at the Sunny, the rest of the crew had made it to the ship, but they were frantic. The whole island seemed to be in an uproar, and Kikidori was nowhere to be found.
"Where the hell is he?" Nami asked, clutching the ship's wheel with a concerned look on her face. "He's supposed to be part of this crew. What if he—"
"He's always like this," Zoro said nonchalantly, crossing his arms as he leaned against the mast. "He probably got distracted by some random thing."
"We can't leave without him!" Robin said, scanning the horizon for any sign of Kikidori. "We need to find him, or the marines will catch us when we leave."
Luffy, however, wasn't worried. He was leaning casually against the railing, munching on a piece of meat. "He'll show up. He always does."
As the rest of the crew nervously looked around, suddenly, the sound of footsteps echoed behind them. They turned just in time to see Kikidori—carrying **bags**.
"Oi, where did you go?!" Nami shouted. "We've been waiting for you!"
But then, Kikidori casually strolled onto the deck, his arms stacked with treasures. He was grinning from ear to ear as he dropped his spoils with a loud crash onto the deck. Gold coins, **jewels**, tiaras, golden bars... and a stack of **100,000 Beli** bills!
"Ta-da!" Kikidori announced dramatically. "Look what I got! All mine now!" He threw his hands up, beaming with pride.
Nami's eyes immediately transformed into swirling **Beli symbols**, her jaw practically dropping to the ground. "Where… where did you get all this?!"
"Eh? The Royal Castle," Kikidori said casually, like it was nothing. "I just *borrowed* a few things."
"Borrowed?!" Nami shouted, grabbing Kikidori by the collar. "YOU STOLE IT!?"
"Eh, that's basically the same thing, right?" Kikidori shrugged, clearly pleased with himself. "I didn't see any signs saying it wasn't for *me*."
Luffy grinned widely, completely unaffected by the treasure. "Nice job, Kikidori! That was awesome!"
Kikidori puffed his chest out, proudly accepting the compliment. "Told you I was a good thief. You all doubted me."
Sanji raised an eyebrow. "How the hell did you even get past all the guards?"
"I'm just that good," Kikidori said smugly, flipping one of the tiaras onto his head like it was a crown. "No one even noticed me. I'm like a shadow. A pirate shadow."
Nami, on the other hand, was now pacing in circles around Kikidori, her eyes glued to the piles of treasure. "Kikidori, this is worth *so* much. This is the perfect thing for me to expand my fleet of ships! And I can pay off that massive debt to the bank!" She grabbed a few of the golden bars, holding them up like they were made of pure sunlight. "This is amazing! Look at all this Beli!"
Kikidori grinned sheepishly. "Told ya I was a good thief!" He glanced at Luffy. "But you know... I'm also a pirate. So it's like… a fair trade?"
Robin raised an eyebrow, a small smile on her face. "Well, it seems that you've proved yourself useful today, Kikidori."
"We're *pirates*, Robin. No one can really complain," Franky chimed in, clapping Kikidori on the back. "That's the pirate life, right? Steal and conquer!"
"Exactly!" Kikidori shouted, pumping his fist in the air. "Pirate life for me!"
Usopp looked at the treasure with wide eyes. "How do we even get *rid* of all this? I don't think we'll have time to spend it all in one place."
"Why get rid of it?" Nami asked with a sly grin. "I've got a few ideas on how we can use it to our advantage."
"Hey, I think you're forgetting something," Zoro muttered. "We're still on the run. There's an entire island searching for us, remember?"
"Oh, right," Luffy said, suddenly serious. "Alright, let's get out of here before the marines come looking."
The crew quickly set to work preparing to leave the island, but Nami was already stacking the gold and jewels neatly in a pile, grinning like the happiest person alive.
"Well, *technically* I'm not complaining," she said, looking over the treasure with a pleased glint in her eye. "Kikidori, you've done well. For once, I'm not annoyed with you."
"You're welcome!" Kikidori called, raising his arms in a showy manner, enjoying the moment. "Now, let's get out of here, shall we? We've got more treasures to plunder, right?"
As the crew set sail, the island behind them grew smaller, but they all knew that their next adventure awaited.
