章節 34: I ♡ You Mom

The Thousand Sunny glided peacefully over the vast blue sea. The alliance with the Rase Pirates had gone smoother than expected, and the crew was enjoying a rare moment of calm. Kikidori, however, was restless, pacing the deck as if trying to make sense of his thoughts.

Robin, seated under the shade of the mast with a book in her lap, noticed his fidgeting and smiled softly. "Is something on your mind, Kikidori?"

Kikidori stopped mid-step, looking at Robin hesitantly. "Uh… no, not really," he said, scratching the back of his neck.

Robin tilted her head slightly, her knowing gaze piercing through his attempt to deflect. "You've been pacing for quite a while. If you have something to say, you can tell me."

Kikidori hesitated, then shuffled over and sat down beside her. He played with a loose thread on his shirt, his gaze fixed on the wooden planks beneath them. "I… I guess I do have something to say."

Robin closed her book and gave him her full attention. "I'm listening."

He glanced up at her, his face flushed with embarrassment. "Well… it's just… you kind of remind me of my mom."

Robin's eyes softened, and a faint smile played on her lips. "Oh?"

"Yeah," Kikidori mumbled, his voice barely above a whisper. "You're smart, you're kind, and you always seem to know what to say. It's like… like having a mom around again."

The words tumbled out before Kikidori could stop himself. "I guess what I'm trying to say is… thanks, Mom."

Silence fell between them, and Kikidori's heart sank. He immediately backtracked. "Wait! I didn't mean to call you that—sorry! That was stupid! I—"

Before he could finish, Robin chuckled softly, her laugh as warm as the sun overhead. She reached out and ruffled his hair gently. "It's okay, Kikidori. I don't mind."

"You don't?" Kikidori blinked, his eyes wide with surprise.

Robin shook her head. "Not at all. In fact, I think of you as my child anyway."

Kikidori's heart swelled at her words, and he looked at her with a shy smile. "Really?"

Robin nodded. "Of course. If calling me 'Mom' makes you happy, you're welcome to."

"Thanks, Mom," Kikidori said, this time with more confidence.

As the moment settled, Zoro walked by, polishing his swords. He paused when he saw Kikidori and Robin sitting together, noting the comfortable dynamic between them.

Kikidori grinned mischievously. "Hey, Dad!"

Zoro stopped in his tracks, blinking at Kikidori as if he hadn't heard correctly. "What did you just call me?"

"Dad," Kikidori repeated with a straight face.

Zoro's expression flickered between confusion and annoyance. "I'm not your—"

"Zoro," Robin interrupted with a teasing smile, "let him have his fun."

Zoro grumbled something under his breath about not signing up for this, but he didn't argue further.

Kikidori laughed, feeling more at ease than he had in weeks. His laughter was contagious, and even Robin chuckled. Zoro, despite himself, smirked and shook his head as he continued polishing his swords.

Later that evening, Kikidori found himself in the infirmary with Chopper. The little reindeer was busy organizing supplies, his tiny hooves deftly arranging bottles and bandages.

"Hey, Tony," Kikidori called, leaning against the doorway.

Chopper froze mid-reach, turning slowly to face Kikidori. "What… did you just call me?"

"Tony," Kikidori repeated, his grin widening. "You're not just a doctor—you're *my* doctor. So, you're Tony now."

Chopper's face turned bright red, and he stomped his tiny hoof. "D-Don't give me weird nicknames, you idiot! It's not like I like it or anything!"

Kikidori laughed. "Sure, sure, Tony."

Despite his protests, Chopper couldn't hide the small smile tugging at the corners of his mouth.

---

As the crew gathered for dinner, Kikidori's newfound nicknames for Robin, Zoro, and Chopper were the topic of conversation.

"'Mom,' 'Dad,' and 'Tony,' huh?" Sanji said, raising an eyebrow as he served plates of food. "What about me? Don't I get a nickname?"

Kikidori smirked. "Sure, I'll call you 'Love Cook.'"

Sanji's face lit up, and he struck a dramatic pose. "Finally! Someone who appreciates my culinary genius and romantic charm!"

Nami rolled her eyes. "Oh, please. He's clearly messing with you."

As the table erupted into laughter and teasing, Kikidori felt a warmth in his chest. For the first time in a long time, he felt like he truly belonged.
