章節 30: (Chapter 27) Dreams

Roger sighed as their group made it back to the ship, It took them a long time to bury all the people that died
But what disturbed him the most is what they found in the centre, the place seemed to have been destroyed completely as if there was an earthquake
Body's lay everywhere some pirate ones too, but he wasn't too concerned about those, but the ones wearing kimonos had their weapons missing and died in gruesome ways
"I wonder if the kids alright, he seems to be the only survivor from this entire disaster" They soon reached the ship everyone got onboard before they lifted the anchor
Roger entered Crocus's office and he spotted Rayleigh straight away, The man was sleeping on a chair next to the boy's bed hair styled in a ponytail
The not wasn't very tall he had long spiky red hair that was styled in a ponytail and wore a simple red kimono with dragon designs
But what caught his attention was the blade on the boy's side, as soon as he touched it did the boy's eyes shot up before reaching for the blade drawing it in a blink of an eye before pointing it at Roger's neck
Rayleigh woke up as soon as he heard the boy move, 'Hey kid put the sword down we're not enemies'
'Where's Ka-chan!' his words made their eyes soften as Rayleigh reached for the blade as he lowered it
'Easy there we found you inside a burnt down house, any idea what happened' asked Roger, His signature grin lit up the room as Ryi's eyes widened
He shook his head before putting his sword back in its scabbard, 'Forgive me' he uttered as he sat back down
Bags lay under his dull black eyes, Roger sighed as he pulled a chair down and sat next to Rayleigh
"He looks a bit better than when we found him, I don't think it's a good time to ask him questions" thought Roger
'So you're a swordsman?' Ryu looked towards Roger before nodding slightly as his grin widened
'That sword you got there is pretty impressive where'd you get your hands on it?' he asked
Ryu stayed silent for a moment before wandering the straw hat-wearing man 'A family friend made it for me' He muttered out
Roger's eyes widened "So that's the eighth?! I didn't expect to run into its wielder so soon, Nevertheless actually finding it"
'Ah I see I bet he's a pretty good Blacksmith, Any idea where he is?' but as soon as those words came out of his mouth did he regret it
Rayleigh jabbed him on his side glaring at him "You idiot what kind of question is that?!"
Rayleigh sighed before looking back at the kid 'You hungry?' he asked Ryu just looked at him before nodding slightly
Rayleigh smiled before standing up, He dragged Roger out of the door with him before shutting it
Ryu heard some bantering outside as he sighed, he took his gaze off the door before directing it towards his blade
He drew his blade as he looked at his reflection, He gritted his teeth as he glared towards himself
"I was too weak to do anything..."
He sheathed his blade before his mind went back to that strange strange dream he had

Ryu opened his eyes as he found himself back there
He was in a field of flowers as he could see that large strange tree in the distance
He stood up before he started walking towards it, his sandals crunched whenever he took a step on the soft gravel
He looked towards the flowers as he picked a daisy from the field he smiled softly before making his way to the tree
He soon reached the tree, It was very large as it dwarfed him, He soon noticed a set of stairs that lead to a large branch
He started walking up the staircase as fiddled with the flower in hand, He soon finally reached the top were he found that girl sitting in a chair
In front of her was a table with another chair opposite of it, He wordlessly made his way and sat in front of her
She magically pulled a tea kettle and a few cups before pouring and placing it in front of him as she poured one for herself
'It's nice to meet you Master Ryu' came her soft voice, She was short and stood at around 5'2 she wore a white kimono and had her long black hair pulled back in a ponytail
But as soon as he tried to answer he felt something tugging at him and before he knew it his eyes parted only to see a large hand going for his sword

{New World: Death peak island}
A week has passed as Shiki landed the ships next to the other ones, The pirates had made a large camp near the shores of the island
He could see a large House made of candy a few hundred meters away, He guessed it was Linlins brats that made them
"That whore has one big sweet tooth, I swear to god she's going to become obese with all she eats one day' As he uses his fruit abilities to lift the blades and box next to him
He landed on the ground before making his way towards Linlins house, But was stopped halfway by a familiar figure
'Hahaha Shiki! Long time where have ya bin?' came the voice of John, John was known for having one of the larger kill counts among the crew and had a treasure trove somewhere filled to the brim with as much gold as you can imagine
The man was pretty average in height and had long white hair that went down his neck, he wore a red captains coat and had two swords on his sides
'Ah John it has been a while, I was sent by Xebec on a mission any idea where he is?' asked Shiki as he shook hands with the man
John grinned before pointing towards the middle of the island, 'Captain said not to disturb him unless it's you so you can go right ahead speaking of which those are some nice blades' Whistled John as he grabbed a sword from mid-air and unsheathing it
He grinned before putting it back into its scabbard 'No wonder captain sent you there, these are some high-quality shit!'
He eyed the box as he questioned Shiki 'Any idea what that is?' as he pointed towards the box
Shiki grinned before patting it 'Youll see when the captain announces it or something, anyway I need to deliver these to him' he says before waving and leaving towards the middle of the island
John grinned as he saw his friend? Crew mate? Bestie? Head towards the captain, 'Oh well guess we'll never know' as he made his way towards his ship
