"Ah …. Have you guys had breakfast yet?"

Apparently not, as both of them shook their heads in response.

Three of them decided to have breakfast by going to District Seven. Entering a cozy café, Kyle generously allowed them to order anything within a reasonable limit— all while graciously covering the bill. This, he thought, was an effective way to win their favor—a strategic use of food as a subtle bribe.

"So, where are we going?" Kyle inquired as they enjoyed their meal.

"District Three. It is an old industrial district. A complex layout and some locations are restricted," Carla replied. "We have checked that place before and found nothing. However, we have received a rumor about a mysterious moving shadow not far from District Three."

"Shadow …. Aren’t you guys being a bit hasty in your judgment?" Kyle questioned, skeptical about the urgency of their mission. After all, a shadow could be anything, perhaps even a product of someone's imagination.
