Vreihya's P.O.V
As I felt the chilly water engulf me, I quickly looked around. I immediately noticed him a distance away from me, so I didn't waste any time and swam rapidly.
When I got close to Mino, I softly patted his cheek. He gently opened his feeble eyes, only to close them again. Entrante! No! You cannot die while I am here.
We have a lot to discuss and clear up about the two of us. You cannot abandon me! I didn't hesitate any longer and claimed his lips once more, although this time I attempted to give him some air.
I pressed both of his cheeks to draw him closer. Mino, you can't abandon me after all you've shown and made me feel. You have no right to simply vanish.
You will be held accountable for your effect on my system! I can't let you abandon me with so many unanswered questions. For my part, I know I'll be seeking for you. You're the only one I want to make me feel all the sensations I can't put into words.
You can't leave me alone because you had to stand by me since you made me feel that crazy beat of my heart. I gave him some air for a few seconds while being terrified because I couldn't feel any movement in him.
I wrapped my arms around him, pressing him against me even harder. I said you're not allowed leave me! I require your explanation! No one else will be able to make me feel this way once you're gone.
For a few seconds, nothing seemed to be happening, and I became even more scared, but I shrieked as we suddenly vanished from the water and my feet landed on the grass. Because I hugged Mino while he was unconscious, I quickly tumbled down while he was on top of me.
As I felt the howling winds around me, our lips remained close. Mino abruptly opened his eyes and moved himself off of me a few moments later.
We were both drenched as I lay motionless and panting for air. He immediately propped me up as I reached for him, and when we were both standing, we both turned away awkwardly.
Entrante! I'm at a loss for both words and deeds. If I had wished to talk to him before, I now seem to have lost my voice due to the embarrassment and nervousness in my chest.
But I can't put off answering my inquiries because of my thoughts. I don't have much patience, so I need an answer right now.
"Mino?" I struggled to confront him, but when I did, his lovely back met me. Because of what I was seeing now, I bit my lower lip. Why was he becoming more and more appealing to me?
"Yeah?" he replied softly as he turned to face me. As I saw how he was staring at me, the tremendous thumping of my chest deafened me once more. My throat felt dry, and I was at a loss for words.
When was the last time I was anxious and nervous? Why am I unable to speak? Why does he have such an impact on me? Mino, what have you done to me?
I was going to say something when he rapidly moved his foot closer to me, went for my waist, and embraced me tightly.
I don't seem to be cold in his embrace, despite our damp bodies. "You save my life," he groaned to me as I stood immobile.
He instantly let go and rested his forehead on mine, making it appear that it was more difficult for me to breathe. His left hand was on my cheek, while the other was on my waist, as if he were pursuing me.
Damn! My heart is beating thunderously that I feel compelled to say something to him, but I'm petrified. When did I become such a coward? This is not my visage! What is going on?
"Mino?" I softly whispered his name, and he moved slightly away from me to get a better view of my face. "You have a lot of explaining to do," I warned instantly, but he only stroked the back of his neck as if he were a child caught doing something terrible.
"Aren't you cold?" he asked, changing the subject, but I shook my head. "No! Stick to the topic," I said quickly, with a mixture of attitude and seriousness to make him feel that I was legitimate about what I was saying.
I was going to say something when a violent wind blew in and my wet hair struck my face, getting stuck because it was damp. Mino took a step closer and raised his hand, as if he wanted to be the one to take the hair off my face.
But he seemed to come to a halt and simply looked away. I was taken aback but willingly removed them. "Explain everything you did right now!" I said angrily, to which he smirked.
I crossed my arms while raising my eyebrows just looking at the man I could see nothing but perfection. He merely stared at me as if he didn't intend to speak or even explain.
"Mino! One!" I threatened him with a count. "Two! Three! Four!" he teased, responding to what I stated. My blood rose automatically, and I struck him, but he turned away and bolted.
"You're really irritating me!" I exclaimed, launching myself into the open grass where we were. I know I have vampire speed, but I don't seem to want to utilize it only to enjoy this light feeling, even though I resent him.
He sprinted even faster, then turned to face me slightly, sticking out his tongue as if to anger me even more. "Silly!" I scoffed angrily as I accelerated even further. I was about to reach him when he abruptly used his speed to look a sharp curve.
Ah! He'd like something like this! I also used my speed to catch up to him. When I finally caught up with him, he took another left turn. I groaned at the sensation of the damp dress on my body as I sprinted.
I was trying to catch up with him and struck him swiftly. I've been through a lot in this sanctuary, and I don't want to worry about anything more. I sped up even faster because I was getting closer to him.
I was about to reach him when he abruptly turned around and came to a halt. Entrante! I slammed into his body, and we both collapsed. He growled somewhat as a result of his hard landing on the grass, and my face was buried in his chest.
"Entrante! Mino!" I snorted angrily because of what he did, and as I was ready to stand up, he held my waist, preventing me from leaving. "Stay!" He said emphatically, and I was taken aback as he look at me.
I gently tilted my face and angled such that my left ear rested on his chest. He was gently stroking my hair with one hand on my waist.
"Can you hear that?" he asked, and I nodded slowly. "Loud and clear," I replied faintly as I heard the quick and loud thumping on his chest. It's like the noise that currently reigns in my chest.
"I never expected a vampire to make my heart beat this furiously," he whispered softly, as if he couldn't believe it. "I can lie and conceal the truth with my acts and words, but my heart would not deceive," he added, making it difficult for me to breathe.
I'm not sure why my own sanity seems to be slipping away as a result of what he says. He knows I dislike words that confuse me, so perhaps he lets his heart speak for him.
"Vreihya?" he asked quietly, like if he were playing music to my ears. Why is it so satisfying to hear my name when he calls? "Hmm?" I said meekly since I didn't have the strength to respond.
It's something only he can do to me. We were silent for a few seconds, but I couldn't react since my chest was quivering along with his as a result of the words he said.
"I guess I am falling for you! A feeling that I tried to control yet succeeded to deepen".
