章節 78: Min Jun Finds Peace

Min Jun felt like the luckiest man in the world regardless of how he looked. Irrespective of the jaw wired shut, the contusions, the fractures, the possibility that he would have scars that he would have to live with or undergo surgeries to correct. 

He had Jessie by his side, and she was alive and warm and—amazingly—carrying his child. Jessie didn't even know that last bit yet. At least he didn't think she knew. He liked to think if she had known, she would have told him before this whole craziness had threatened their happiness.

His arm was asleep under Jessie's head, but he didn't care. His arm could fall off for all he cared. No, wait. That wasn't right. He'd need that arm to help with the baby. But still, she could lay there just a little longer, couldn't she? It had been so long since she had curled into his body like this. And the way her hand rested over Min Jun's heart brought out the big baby in him.
