A shrill scream escaped Joanna's throat at the sight of the man on the bed with her, but all she received in return was laughter. An irritating laugh that made her heart race and her anger flare up.

"Who are you? Get away from me!" she yelled, putting as much distance between them as possible.

She couldn't remember the last time she ever yelled like this. She had slept on the couch last night, so how was she now on the bed? Joanna's mind was in chaos.

"You paid me to spend the night. Did you forget?" His question drove her crazy.
