"What did you find out? Or was it something else?" Alex asked Aiden, who appeared slightly confused. Perhaps he had misunderstood everything.

"Wait, what were you expecting?" he asked. Alex recalled what Melanie had said and couldn't even care where she was at the moment.

He leaned in and whispered to Aiden, "She claimed to have some proof of me being Salvador on it."

Aiden burst into laughter, which annoyed Alex until he calmed down and explained, "She tricked you. These are just records of everything that happened between the two of you in that room."

"What?" Alex was confused, but Aiden clarified it for him.

"What you gave me was a high-definition camera, but I wonder where she got it from."

Alex sighed with relief. If Melanie was in cahoots with Logan, could it be that they both didn't have the correct information?

As much as Alex wanted to believe that, Logan seemed too confident when he mentioned it.
