章節 8: Even in Darkness
Hinata walked into his office and slammed the door shut, no one dared to enter except his friends, same walked into the room and asked him if she could use her powers to display what happened? Hinata Nodded and the events were shown, Sam Huged Hinata looked at him, "sorry, I didn't know, we'll work hsrd to clesr your name, i swear" she said with a determined look which out Hinata's heart at ease a bit "thank you" he said before he could say anymore a bright light flashed over him and a note appeared on his desk "Grandson, you took a life today, not out of necessity but anger, I've reduced your powers greatly until you can control yourself more"
Hinata looked at it and scoffed, he didn't really seem to care since he could feel that he was still incredibly strong. he crumpled the note and burned it with hellfire, then he turned to Sam who was tapping his shoulder for a minute straight "yes?", he said "I'm sorry but you need new powers if you want to be truly under cover"
Hinata looked sad for a second before continuing "Fine, I'll go report to the power reactor now and have my powers removed, I'll go to my friend's and get some new powers, but I'm keeping gravity and strategy"
Sam nodded and Hinata had his powers removed, he then went to the gods and received blessings, the first he got was Control over darkness, shadows and everything that lurked in them, then he got Isis, healing but no other gods would bless him. he was then taken to the biological changer and forced to evolve his godhood status prematurely so that his body would change again, now at his final form, he had black hair and glowing red eyes

Hinata, underwent constant pain during this process, by the time he was done, he was sweating a lot, shivering cold and on his knees, breathing heavy, his eyes glossed over snd open wide. Ash and Sam were around him, Ash bent down and trued to put s blanket over him but he slapped her hand away, disoriented he looked around ready to attack, his mind was on the verge of collapsing. Sam slapped the anti power cuffs on him and dialed a number "who are you calling?" Ash asked "the only person that can calm him down right now
Hinata was still feeling the constant pain from his body being forced to evolve prematurely, he was screaming and writhing in pain, by the time the pain had subsided, he was crying, his face pale and his eyes, dark and lifeless, in the he felt years of evolution condensed into 1 minute, because of this he felt, years of pain as well, all condensed in the span of a minute, the pain of evolving was amplified 1500 times greater than normal and he was no longer as strong as before, he was feeling broken and begged to die. just then a young woman burst into the room and glared daggers at Ash and Sam, it was Emi. the massive killing intent the two felt made them both shiver and Ash suddenly feared for her life, she walked over to Hinata and Ash suddenly grabbed hand, what the hell are you doing to him?" she screamed
"who the hell are you" she pulled her hand free and glared at Ash "helping him" now sit down child"
"child?" you look like 26 at the oldest"
Emi ignored her and leaned down and spoke softly into Hinata's ear as she held him and her eyes constricted, using her compulsion, she forced Hinata to listen to her, after hearing her he slowly calmed down and returned to normal
Ash looked at Emi, helping Hinata up and looked st Sam "what did she do?" shes a vampire, she compelled him to listen to her i think, her eyes constricted so I assume that was compulsion then she simply talked to him, he'll always listen to what she has to say"
Ash looked over at Emi and Hinata again as she saw Them smiling at each other, she's a vampire, immortal, Hinata, isn't he a god? he's immortal too right?"
"yep so am I" San said
"am I the only one here who ages?"
"yep" Sam smiled "unless we're killed, well all live to see your great grandchildren and their great grand children, etc, Emi is 2000 years old, I'm 501 years old and Hinata just recently evolved and became immortal a fee months ago, he's 19 but he'll stay that way forever"
Ash ran over to Emi, bowed her head and said "please forgive me I'm sorry, I thought you'd hurt him"
"why would I ever hurt my own fiancé?" she asked Ash looked at her "ohh you guys are engaged, I'm sorry I didn't know"
"I suppose since I'm better I should have some manners, Emi, this is my temporary partner for the undercover mission Ash, Ash this my actual, like official partner and fiance Emi"
Ash smiled at Emi and bowed in respect
"I don't like her" emi said "she and Sam forced you to evolve prematurely, you almost broke"
Ash hung her head in shame but smiled when she heard Hinata speak "I knew the risk, it's partially my fault" she felt relieved that he had saved ger from the anger of the very pissed off vampire then she spoke
"wait, you're 2000, he's 19, isn't that weird for you both?" she spoke respectfully, she didn't mean anything by it but was genuinely curious, they turned to each other and laughed, Emi looked at her and replied "I'm 2000 but I'm biologically stuck as 17 forever, he's stuck 18 forever, although he looks older thsn 18 but still, dating as an immortal is the hardest thing ever, there aren't many immortals, I'm so glad he became immortal cause I fell for him long ago, I can't date a non immortal, they'd grow old amd die andnid stay young, healthy and alive forever there's lots of reasons this normal" both Hinata and Emi laughed again and Emi looked at Hinata "good luck, come home safe or I'll kill you"
