We go inside the principal's office and in front of us is The Bald Devil. Cough. I mean, our very well respected Principal Brown.

He looked up at us with a glare. And a small squeak came out of me, I jumped behind Quinn. Trying to use her small body to cover my large frame from those glaring black eyes.

I cling to her back, my hands grabbing the hem of her shirt. Slowly curling into shaking fists. My anxiety jumps up every time he speaks but I can't hear anything he says and jumping down every time Quinn spoke.

Before I knew it, we were in the hallway again.

"You can let go now," She said gently. I let go of her shirt with a gasp.

"I-I-I'm sorry.." I stammered out, my entire body shaking.

She gently cupped my face and brought it closed to hers.

She gently gazed into my eyes. "It's ok, just breathe, it'll be ok,"

I did what she told me to do and slowly calmed down as I stared into her eyes. I felt myself sinking into them.

"Better?" She asked after awhile. I nodded. "Good."

Her lips curled up into a smile and her hands dropped away from my face. I felt sad when she went away from me. I wanted her to be close...to me...
