Moving on
To live and to dream again
Life was different now, that jakes passed away. Laura was trying to move on, but you don't forget your soul mate everything reminded her of jakes, sitting outside reading a books, going for a walk, the ocean and the nature. She would find herself breathing in, and smiling and laughing alone. The children were doing great and the part of not driving their mother crazy, well they did, every day they came up with crazy ideas and how to save the world. Laura now had her own talk show, she was dreaming again, living her life to the fullest with her children. You don't stop dreaming, while you're still alive, still mountain to climb. Speaking of mountains, Laura took her children were jakes proposed, they climb that mountain. Was this the end, life is so complicated right, who knows. You think I forgotten about Eric and his family, no I didn't. Eric was happily married to Sofia, living their best life. He was now a senior pastor. Eric mother was in prison, her getting into politics was not a happy ending for her, and Eric's father would go and visit her in prison until he passed away. Laura's life was that complicated but so interesting. As for her love with jakes it was amazing not complicated and should be that way.
She took off her wedding ring, after a year but still wore it as necklace. Years of jakes being gone. Sitting down in a coffee shop reading books and her books she was now a bestselling author. She had many stories to tell, her life and also about jakes. That kind of love that was amazing and no one can replace what she had with jakes and when you thought you met your soul mate and probably won't fall in love again.
"Hi, I love your books and your talk show is inspiring I am Liam Stiles." Stranger in a coffee shop.
"Thank you, Liam I could introduce myself but" Laura said.
"Trust me there's no need to everyone knows who you are Laura Smith." Liam said.
She was still using jakes surname was no need to change it.
"So tell me about what you like about the book?" Laura said.
"Everything, when my wife passed away my life was crazy and having two girls raising them without their mother was hard but reading your book it was great to know I was not alone someone out there can relate." Liam said.
"Sorry, about your wife well my children drive me crazy always and sometimes I wish jakes was here he knew what to say and I miss him it's been years since he died." Laura said.
"You never forget your true love, your soul mate and would you love to come to my church we are having a conference this week and having a motivational speaker like you would be great." Liam said.
"I would love to but this week I will be in another city big church conference and im on the guest list." Laura said.
"Well, I was trying my luck you're everywhere doing great things God has blessed you. "Liam said
"I count my blessings daily I am so grateful, my life was so complicated and crazy until I got to know Lord Jesus." Laura said.
"When you come back I would love to have you in my church preaching and teaching about leadership. God wants me to focus on that authority, making disciples growing them instead of planting seeds in dead soil and expecting them to flourish." Liam said
"You're a pastor, I love this leaders should be aware of the responsibility they have been given, nothing wrong with wanting millions of people in your church but the focus should be growing those few you have and then also make disciples." Laura said
"That's true everyone wants to focus on figures, sits being filled and forget we are in a business of changing lives. People forget that we didn't get born again to have this stuff or blessings." Liam said
"Preach to them about giving, they don't want to hear it "you're so wealth and yet you expect us to give the little we have" thank God for weeks we been preaching this in my church there's a change and I thought preaching about having fears will be hard but it was not." Laura said
"Church politics, my nephew is a prophet and I had to tell him he is not ready yet you can't give them such responsibility and put them in positions when the time has not come just because they have gifts. Tomorrow you will have to deal with bad leaders, egos, pride no leadership skills whatsoever." Liam said
"I see such things we need to protect them, teach them and mentor them to have a relationship with God than having religion or playing church no time for such things."
"As leaders will have to answers for such things, all this talk I'm sure your coffee is cold now." Liam said
"Well, it was interesting conversation Liam will have to come to your church one day." Laura said
"I would love to get to know you Ms Smith, tell me about your life and children are you dating again?" Liam said
"I still believe in love, as for dating no and life is crazy right who knows what the future holds." Laura said
Liam said "amazing woman like you I'm pretty sure there are plenty of man out there who would want to be with you."
Laura said" I know I am amazing and beautiful."
Liam said "confident woman, that's great I also read your book about moving on have you?"
Laura said" not wearing my ring, I don't go to graveyard to see my late husband every Friday night and yes I was in crazy place when he passed away but I have two amazing children who were there and reminding me what their father would have wanted smile and dance in the rain."
Liam said" sounds like you have amazing children, I would love to meet them."
Laura said "as what Mr stiles?"
Liam said" as someone who wants to date their beautiful mother not just date and being praying for someone and I think is you."
Laura said" what are the chances of meeting someone in a coffee shop, dressed in jeans and sneakers must be my lucky day."
Liam said" what you look beautiful and can't wait for what you will wear in our first date."
Laura said "I don't know I just love being a mother and dating or getting married again never thought about that."
Liam said" just one date, please say yes."
Laura thought about jakes probably would say" come on love he seems like a nice guy and yes he won't be like me, who can replace me no one just want you to smile that big smile come on say yes be happy and move on." Her children would say "50 something you still have few years mom so live and will not be here in this mansion forever and about soul mates you will meet another one not as amazing as dad but life goes on." Laura was laughing and smiling
Laura said "life is so complicated right but love isn't."
Liam said "is that a yes?"

She was opening her heart again, to fall in love again and it was like a start over. When your soul mate dies you don't stop living yes it hurts but life goes on. Somehow by God's grace Laura was able to move on and wake up every day excited about life.

Love is a beautiful thing, life is one crazy adventure and gets complicated sometimes but interesting.
