As DeRozan went to the technical table to chalk up, he encountered a provocation from the opposing team. He didn't speak, but with a look that was three parts disdain, three parts contempt, and four parts nonchalance, he incited the other team to start swearing on the spot.

When the provocation occurred, Zhang Yang, Tatum, Kanter, Monroe, and others saw it and immediately went to help. The opposing team also gathered around, sparking a shouting match.
