Phoebe Sherton looked at Owen Hanson, then at the kid with the pineapple hairstyle, choked back a sob and said, "Really?"

The kid with the pineapple hairstyle pounded his chest, "Yes, for real! Matthew Quach and his sister are coming over for supper too. You should join us, it'll be more lively."

Phoebe, initially hesitant, quickly agreed when she heard Hannah would be going. She turned to Owen Hanson and asked, "Uncle, can I go to pineapple head's house for dinner tonight?"

"Of course, you can." Owen Hanson quickly nodded, "I'll take you there later. Also, Phoebe, you can just call me big brother. Calling me uncle makes me feel old."

His slightly aggrieved demeanor, coupled with a smile that was feigned to be kind, and a face that looked handsome with makeup on, seemed to barely justify the new nickname.
