章節 223: Preparing for Kyoto visit
After getting back from the Mural Kaneki discussed about the Second hint that was apparently in his family and he needs to go to his grandparents in Kyoto to get it.
Only problem being that his grandparents are expecting him to visit with a girlfriend so Yuuka suggested that she'll act as his girlfriend so they can get the Hint.
Though Kaneki was against it everyone else was on board with that plan so he had no other choice to accept, now he is preparing to go to Kyoto.
Kaneki: sigh~ why is this happening? There's no way this plan is going to work.
Miku: c'mon have some faith, besides Granny and Grandpa would probably accept her immediately.
Kaneki: I doubt it, don't you remember when you got introduced to them?
Miku: !!!
Flashback*
Granny: Hey Miku-chan do you want to marry your new Onii-chan?!
Grandpa: if you do you have to take care of him alright!?
End of flashback*
Miku's thoughts*
(Yeah, I remember it pretty well, they really are obsessed with Onii-chan getting a girlfriend even at a young age, that's probably one of the reasons why Mom and Dad don't bring me to them anymore)
Kaneki: anyways, I'll be making a lot of food for tomorrow, since I'll be gone for a whole day and I'll probably be returning on Sunday.
Miku: huh? Why?
Kaneki: I have a feeling that they'll make us stay for a whole day, so better safe then sorry.
Miku: oh okay.
Kaneki: and another thing Natsuki will be staying here for the entire day.
Miku: Huh?! What?!
Kaneki: she offered to watch over you for me tomorrow so I accept it.
Miku: ehhh.
Kaneki: also if you two somehow eat all of the food I'll be preparing for tomorrow you two can use my dish book that's in my room.
Miku: wait, does that mean?
Kaneki: yeah, I'll allow you to cook.
Miku: Yay!
Kaneki: But, if YOU'RE the one cooking Natsuki will be watching carefully.
Miku: alright! Thanks Onii-chan! Well then hope tomorrow goes well for you! Do your best!
Miku then went to her room.
Kaneki: ... Yeah, thanks... Sis.
Kaneki then started to prepare the food that Miku and Natsuki will have in the next day.
3 hours later*
Kaneki: Haa~! Done! Finally! I should probably start preparing clothes for tomorrow too-
Ping!
Kaneki: hmm?
Kaneki had a message in his phone.
Kaneki: huh? Who's this?
"Hey Kaneki are you ready for tomorrow?"
"Ummm, who's this? How did you get my line?"
"Seriously? Can't you see my profile name? It's me! Yuuka!"
"Oh hey Mirai-san"
"Anyways I can't wait for tomorrow, where exactly in Kyoto we're going to?"
"We're going to Wakagaeri Higanbana Hotel"
"Wait a Hotel?!! Why a hotel?!"
"That's my grandparents hotel"
"Your Grandparents owns a hotel?!"
"Yup, pretty much"
"Wait are we going to stay there?"
"Yeah, I have a feeling that my grandparents will make us stay there the whole day and a whole night so I suggest you to prepare some extra clothes too"
"Alright! I will! Oh yeah by the way you wanna go sight seeing tomorrow too?"
"Huh? Why?"
"Because it's Kyoto!"
"I... See, well I'm not really sure if we can but if my grandparents allows it we probably can"
"Yay!"
Kaneki's thoughts*
(Oh yeah, she always wanted to go to Kyoto but everytime there is a trip that's going to Kyoto it just suddenly gets cancelled so this will be the first time she'll be able to go there)
"Well then, we'll be leaving very early tomorrow so I suggest you get some sleep and set an alarm for 3:30 A.m"
"Okay! I can't wait! See you tomorrow! Goodnight"
Kaneki: ...
"Goodnight"
And then their Chat ended and Kaneki started to prepare extra clothes.
At the Mirai residence*
Yuuka: Hehe~ I can't wait!!!
Yuuki: why are you yelling? It's so late, you might wake up the neibo- what are you doing?
Yuuka's mother Yuuki came in to see her packing clothes.
Yuuka: I'm going to Kyoto tomorrow with Kaneki.
Yuuki: Ehh! I see, so it won't be long till I see my grandkids.
Yuuka: MOM!
Yuuki: hehe~ don't worry I'm just kidding but I wouldn't be surprised if it was true.
Yuuka had a face of embarrassment.
Yuuki: anyways, are you going there for a trip?
Yuuka: Well we'll be visiting his Grandparents, because apparently his family has a hint to where the Crown is.
Yuuki: really?! That's great! In that case do your best! And also where are you two staying?
Yuuka: at Wakagaeri Higanbana hotel.
Yuuki: a hotel? You're both staying overnight?
Yuuka: yup!
Yuuki: that probably explains the Bento's you made.
Yuuka: yup! The Bento's are for lunch and to give to his Grandparents tomorrow.
Yuuki: I see, when are you leaving?
Yuuka: tomorrow at 3:00 A.m.
Yuuki: okay, set your alarm then.
Yuuka: already did.
Yuuki: good, well then have fun tomorrow.
Yuuka: I will.
Yuuki: good.
Yuuki then got out of Yuuka's room.
Yuuka: alright just to pack a little more-
Yuuki: oh yeah, make sure to bring some protection too alright?
Yuuka: MOM!
Yuuki: hehe~
Yuuka: geez.
Yuuka then completed packing her stuff and went to bed.
Tomorrow the two will be heading to Kyoto.
