Kaneki: don't worry it's not his fault I forced him to train me.
Shino was puzzled.

Kaneki: Yeah when I asked him to train me combat without holding back I kept ambushing him and gave him hell.

Kaneki: yes, but after he beaten me up, my body started fixing itself and i acquired my first ability: Regeneration.
Shino: (Regeneration? is that how he's still alive?) I see you kept training and got more and more abilities, must be painful huh?
Kaneki: yeah but I didn't mind even though my reason is to bring back my mom because of my promise to her.
Shino: (he really is a man of his words and he still wants to keep his promise with his mom... i wish i could be like him) I see so that's your reason for wanting power.

Kaneki: my other reason is my 4 girl friends. i don't remember most of their names but I do remember their nickname.
Shino: Girlfriends?! (wait did he think of us as his Girlfriends!?)
Kaneki: no, I said Girl-friends.
Shino: oh I see (what was i thinking?)
Kaneki: well they are: Sachi Saki my childhood friend, Miyu-chan my best friend, Miha-chan the one i consider a sister and Shita-chan my other childhood friend who i sometimes think of as a mother.
Shino: as... a.... Mother?
