Two weeks after Hiruzen's return, I was tasked by him to assassinate someone, a traitor. Kuramoto Misaki, apparently according to his sources he had been selling information to Kumo during the war, Hiruzen proclaimed I was the only one he could trust with this assignment because he didn't know how deep Kuramoto's connections went, and knew I was to be trusted. Knowing the importance of this mission, I accepted.
"Any plans today?" Tsunade said, snapping me out of my long reverie.
"Some, not many," I answered.
"Well…. Once you're done, come by my place, I have a new Jutsu I want to show you!" Tsunade smiled, skipping to her house after a day of training with her team, and her sensei.
Time to kill a man, "I will," I muttered, flickering out of sight.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It took me two hours to find the man I had been assigned to kill, finding him in an abandoned warehouse, this told me two things, one, he knew I was coming, two… someone had heard the Hokage.
Hanging his head high, in a mighty display of smugness Kuramoto let an ironic smile slip across his face. "So… the new Hokage heard about my secret dealings... and he sent the famous, Undead… or is it Immortal?"
"I personally like better the immortal, but that's just me," I answered, as I observed his level. [Kuramoto Misaki LV 35] a level higher than me, that could prove to be problematic.
Kuramoto sneered with a condescending attitude. "Well… I guess I'm about to try how… immortal you are, who knows… I might have fun,"
Casting soul stone, I took my stance, "Who knows,"
"You know… you could've declined the mission," Kuramoto chuckled, his chakra increasing dramatically with each passing second, "This is on you… the Hokage sent you here because he has no proof… and I control the old council, so while he changes the council, he can't imprison me… not without gaining a bad reputation… so he sent you to do his dirty work… and now you'll die,"
"Maybe, maybe not," I replied.
"Huh, well… that's right, nothing it's for sure in the ninja world," With tremendous speed, the distance between us closed. He wanted to end the battle with a single attack, foreseeing this, I blinked a few meters behind him, leaving some explosive tags where I was. Front the smoke of the explosion, Kuramoto dashed towards me, sword at hand, "I am not done yet," he declared charging his blade with chakra.
"Same," Flickering behind him, I kicked him in the head, and as I was upside down in the air, I shouted "Fire Style! Great Fireball Technique!" with blinding speed, I quickly wove the signs for the Jutsu, and a ball of fire large enough to swallow him shot out of my mouth.
Kuramoto turned around and faced the ball of flames dead on, and with a swing of his blade cut the ball in two perfect halves. "Not bad, but there isn't anything I can't cut brat,"
"There's always a first time for everything," I replied, summoning my Fel Guard, Deandre, Water Elemental, and my Fire Elemental. "Kill him," I ordered, and they all roared with delight. From extra measure, I used Hunter's mark on him, just in case.
"No wonder they call you the Demon Lord in Suna," Kuramoto laughed, rushing to face my summons head-on.
His reflexes, speed, and attacks were on a league of his own if this battle extended there was no guarantee I was going to win, but even with his incredible strength, he had one major weakness, his confidence. As we fought, I noticed he was facing me with his real self, no clones… just him and his blade, and how he reacted to my summons, he is not one to run or fight a battle like a ninja, his way of thinking fluctuates between the honorable way of a samurai in battle, and the traitorous side of a ninja out of it. Funny really, how a man can be both stupidly honorable and a traitor at the same time.
Unfortunately for him, I was a ninja, and when it came to battle I had no honor, "Multiple shadow clone Jutsu," as he fought against my summons, I created ten clones, then each of them threw a smoke bomb into the ground, creating a thick curtain of smoke, to cover the next step of my plan, "Explosive tag clone technique," each one of my clones, started to cover the warehouse and its abandoned surroundings with explosive tags, thousands of them, with my newest Jutsu.
"That was fun!" Kuramoto declared, having killed my summons already.
"Good, now for the final act," I said, as the smoke cleared, revealing an explosive tag in my hand.
Kuramoto took a step back, as his eyes widen in realization, in every direction he looked, thousands upon thousands of explosive tags were hanging, ready to explode at my command, "Are you crazy? You will die! The explosion will eat us away!"
"I can't die… remember," I grinned. Lighting the explosive tag in my hand.
"You bi---" whatever he was about to say, was silenced by the explosion that brought daylight to that fateful night. Eating away a good part of the forest where the warehouse was located.

[LEVEL UP]
Soon after the explosion died out, I resurrected using my soul stone. "Well, that was painful," I sighed. At least I had gotten a big chunk of exp by killing the guy. With nothing else to do in the scene, I flickered out of there, leaving a burning hole of nothingness.
My destination? Tsunade's home, she had apparently a new Jutsu to show me, and I had time before dinner.
Flickering a few times to get to her house, I knocked at the door, getting one a stifled giggle from the other side, "Is anyone home?!" I asked, opening the door slowly.
Once the door was wide open, a lot of people yelled, "Surprise!" startled, I jumped at the first person I saw, Kunai brushing against her throat.
"Taicho it's me!" Yumi cried, and I snapped.
"I… I'm sorry," I muttered, I reacted out of instinct.
"It's… okay, in hindsight, it was a bad idea to startle you…" Yumi admitted.
"I see that now," Tsunade nodded.
"Any way! Happy birthday!" Happy birthday? Oh, yeah… I was turning seven today.
