After Ghost left, only Sosuke and Yuko remained in the palace. Sosuke, dressed in white feathers, stood tall and smiled gently. Yuko, donning a layer of bright red armor, looked valiant and beautiful despite the tears streaking her face.

Sosuke glanced at Yuko, whose tears had yet to dry, and chuckled. "Why wear armor inside the palace? Isn't it cumbersome?"

Yuko lowered her beautiful eyes hesitantly and muttered, "In recent years, as my influence in the Fire Country has grown, so has the number of assassination attempts against me."

"Even though I've hired some ninjas, they can't fully protect me. I'd rather take matters into my own hands and use those assassins as whetstones."

Sosuke's smile deepened at her response. "Who are they?"

Yuko looked up at him and whispered, "There's no need for you to intervene. Your whereabouts should remain hidden, as the entire ninja world is already aware of you."

"I don't want you to face the entire underground market's ninja assassins."

Sosuke simply smiled and assured her, "If that force was truly formidable, it would have been under my command by now."

"So, don't worry too much, Yuko."

He continued, "Right now, I just need to wait for the right moment to ascend to the pinnacle of the ninja world."

"As for those lurking in the shadows, they're mere ants to be crushed."

Yuko nodded obediently at his words.

Sosuke then walked over to her and gently flicked her forehead, his lips curving into a gentle smile. "Prepare a list. I'll have others take care of it, so you don't have to worry."

Yuko sighed in relief, her cheeks flushing as she gently rubbed her forehead and softly agreed.

Then, they walked out one after the other.

Sosuke, leading the way, had a smirk on his face, his eyes occasionally gleaming with sharpness as he pondered over something.

Yuko followed closely, gazing adoringly at the figure ahead of her.

For her, Sosuke's presence felt like a dream that could burst at any moment, leaving her with endless regrets and sorrow if she were to wake up.

At this moment, all she wanted was to continue walking like this, content to just watch him from behind. For her, this was bliss.

Memories of his magnetic and gentle voice seemed to linger in her ears.

"Sosuke, I believe your talents are too significant to be constrained by worldly shackles. If you wish to seize control of your destiny, aim for a position where you can do just that. I look forward to the day you shine..."

Yuko's eyes, fixed on Sosuke's silhouette, shone with determination.

Unaware of her thoughts, Sosuke moved forward, his body harboring a crystal that emitted a captivating blue light, unseen and unknown to him.

In an ancient palace, a girl in a kimono reclined on a throne, indifferent to the terrifying power she wielded, casually causing monstrous beings to disintegrate with a mere tap of her finger.

Her cold murmur, "Ho... attempting to use others against me?" revealed a scornful disregard for any challenge to her supremacy.

Sosuke belonged to her alone, and any attempt to defy her will, she deemed worthy only of obliteration.

As she whispered, the entire space trembled, erasing all traces of horror and transforming the palace's surroundings.
