Hearing that, Xia Ming breathed in relief. Thankfully, Su Yanruo didn't kill him in anger. If Rong Yixuan is alive then this situation can still work out, however, if something happened to him then it would be a big problem. All she needed to do now was to let Su Yanruo know that Rong Yixuan never betrayed. Yes, he lied to her about his identity, but it was not done with wrong intentions and motives. She knew about his identity and this fact Su Yanruo needed to know before this entire situation takes a wrong turn.

"I'll get her to eat something," Xia Ming mentioned. 

"Hmm...." Su Junhan nodded. "Feed her well. This matter should not affect her health. She needs to be strong and healthy for next week."

Xia Ming paused. Her brows frowned, and she glanced at her Uncle, "Next week? Oh yeah, Xiaoruo's birthday celebrations would take place next week. She is going to turn 18. Don't worry, I will feed her well."
