Su Yanruo looked at them quietly. She knew Xia Ming was lying to her. She was surely hiding something from her. But what? She looked at the masked man called Wen Zuqin. Was Xia Ming lying to her because of this man? But why?

"Xia Ming, why are you lying to me?" Su Yanruo frowned.

"Xiaoruo, why would I -"

"Stop!" Su Yanruo interrupted her. "I know, you are lying to me," she stated firmly. "But why? What are you hiding from me? Or should I say who are you hiding from me?"

Wen Jinyang gulped loudly under her gaze. When she asked Xia Ming that question, she was just looking at him as if he was the answer to all of those questions. Wen Jinyang frowned, and he wanted to know what she was thinking. Did she recognize him? But they have only seen each other a few times from distance. Apart from that one time in the Su Mansion where these two devils tortured him, he never had another conversation with her. So, he wasn't sure if she recognized him or not.
