Nyarlathotep set the wrench down, having found Andrew's soul. As soon as Nyarlathotep left the Dream Restaurant, he pulled Andrew's soul out of the Land of Dead Silence.

The Land of Dead Silence was a place Nyarlathotep had been studying of late. Originally, the destination of souls in this world was quite simple: those who believed in the Gods would enter The Kingdom of God after death.

Those without faith were cast into the Soul Abyss to suffer torment. Eventually, they would dissolve into nutrients for the Soul Abyss and become pure soul entities.

Soul entities without emotions, without memories, much like newborn infants, were then taken away by the Grim Reaper to become food for the Gods.
