And a blinding flash of death, tearing my whole body apart," Old man Yamamoto, the Captain-Commander of the Gotei 13, owner of the "Zanka no Tachi," which means "Longsword of the Remnant Flame" and considered one of the most powerful Bankai in the Bleach series, replied reluctantly.

His secrets were his own, and he had no intention of sharing his failures with anyone.

Despite his urge to unleash his spiritual pressure on our protagonist, all he could do was sit on the ground like a helpless puppy awaiting attention.

There was a disconnect on his will and abilities at the moment.

Even the expressions on his face remained beyond his control.

In the end, Old Man Yamamoto could only resign himself for now. Having lived for over 2,000 years, he was not one to accept defeat so easily and quickly.

"What are you?" Old Man Yamamoto asked instead, puzzled by his sudden subservience to this young man, knowing nothing of how or why he had been enslaved in the first place.

"I am the bearer of good news, Head Captain Yamamoto. You are alive because of me. Follow me, and perhaps one day I will grant you your revenge on that Quincy guy, Yhwach," our mc said, then immediately issuing a command to his powerful new summon.

"Now, take me to the closest hideout devoid of people and danger for a thousand miles in all directions. Scout this world for their power levels discreetly. Hide and do not reveal your presence. Monitor if you can defeat them. Your safety is paramount; if any danger arises, return to me if manageable, or create a diversion and flee. Come back only when it's safe, and ensure no one follows you," our mc ordered at length, feeling nervous about his plan.

It would have been better if he possessed shinigami abilities like Captain Yamamoto, but alas, he was just a powerful young master with a formidable summon at his command.

"..." Head Captain Yamamoto nodded, rising to his feet and meticulously following the commands. It didn't take long for our protagonist to discern the world he was in.

"Ah... So how should I change a world inhabited by ninjas and villages?" our mc pondered to himself, no more than an hour later.
