The moment that I had seen Addie running from the house, I knew what she was going to do. Addie was the type of person that hated fighting. She didn't condone violence of any kind. Even if she knew that the violence was necessary, she wasn't the type to get involved. At least, she never used to be.

Now though, she seemed to be putting herself in the middle of the fight more and more. She had stepped in the path of the attack that Shepherd had launched, and saved the day that time. And now, once again, I knew that my Addie, the love of my life, was going to be running headlong into battle against a monster that had taken several lives and terrorized this village.
