"Wow, someone looks happy…" Ebony said to me the moment I opened the door for her when she came back to our apartment. I just smiled at her and let her in. She then quickly laid her bag on the sofa then followed me to the kitchen. "Something good happened when I was away, am I right…?"

"Good morning to you too Ebony."

"Come on, tell me!" Ebony persistently bugs me while I prepare her coffee. I wanted to keep the fact that Noel called me last night to myself a little bit more but I think my happiness was overflowing that it has reflected on my face. "Don't be stingy, I know something happened. Look at your face you're glowing!".

"Can't I just have a very good night's sleep?"

"Good night's sleep, my ass. Even if you had eight hours of sleep, you won't glow like that! Come on, just spill it!"
