"Elina, I am not going to talk to her about that. I have something very important to discuss with Jennifer, alone. Do not worry, just go ahead and join the others. She will come soon," William said but Elina still looked hesitant to leave her friend along with him.

He smiled at her behavior and knocked on her head. Then he shook his head and said,

"I am not going to scold her or anything. Instead, I need some help from her regarding an official matter. Just relax and go enjoy yourself with your other friends. I promise I won't do or say anything bad to your Jenny. Are you happy now?" William asked and assured Elina before pushing her out of the room.

Once Elina left, William closed the door behind them and looked straight into Jennifer's eyes.

"First, I have to thank you for taking care of my daughter when I was not around," William said.

Jennifer took a deep breath and held her head down. Then she slowly started to speak whatever was on her mind.
