章節 1: A Perfect Scheme
A click could be heard inside the luxurious and comfortable hotel suite before the room door was gently pushed open from the outside.
A drunken woman was brought into the room by a somewhat cunning figure. When he noticed that the owner of the room was not present, he threw the woman onto the big, soft bed without hesitation.
"Ugh... So uncomfortable..." The woman suddenly shivered. She was unaware of the danger around her. She hugged the soft pillow at her side and mumbled incoherently. "My head hurts so much..."
The man smiled mockingly and left the room without looking back at the woman.
The room fell silent for a few seconds before the balcony curtains were slowly pulled back. A tall figure stepped into the dark room. His cold eyes stared at the woman on the bed before he turned on the wall lamp above her.
Under the dim light, he lifted the woman's jaw and looked at her beautiful and pure face with a sneer.
Apparently, someone had planned to take him down tonight. The perpetrator must have guessed that he would be in this room, so they took this opportunity to bring this woman into his room.
He admitted that this was indeed a clever plan, but did they think he was a fool?
In the last few days, the rumors about him had never ceased, and women were the most delicate subject he had to avoid. If he got involved with them, it would only cause him endless problems in the future.
"Ugh..." The woman shivered in her dream. She fumbled around on the bed and grabbed a blanket, hastily wrapping it around her. Then she curled up and sighed in a low voice. "Xue...I'm very thirsty...I want to drink water..."
The man's cold gaze wandered over the woman who had wrapped herself in a blanket like a caterpillar.
"Xue?"
Was she sent by Han Xuegang? The man had no intention of staying in the room anymore. Just as he was about to touch the doorknob, he suddenly heard a noise from outside. He narrowed his cold eyes and lowered the hand that was on the doorknob.
If Han Xuegang was really the mastermind behind all of this, then everything must have been perfectly planned by him. He definitely could not leave this room without any casualties. And at this point, the woman was so drunk that she could not make out north, east, or west. She was useless.
The man returned to the bed with an indifferent expression on his face. He looked down at the sleeping woman. The woman complained uncomfortably. "Xue, we are going to get married soon... When will you take me to see your parents..."
Her murmur caused a sudden realization to leap into the man's mind. He stared at her beautiful face with a cold smile and his graceful eyebrows rose slightly.

cherryiako This is my first attempt at writing a book, and I hope you will all enjoy it. There will be plot holes and some things that do not make sense, but I will try to slowly revise it. English is not my primary language and there will be many grammatical errors, but I will try to fix them as best I can. Finally, my end of words, I hope you have fun time reading this book. :)
