General Vesper slammed his fist on his desk and gave a fierce look and said, "Yes, when we attack them."

This came as quite a shock to Colonel Amelia because for the whole meeting, the General was preaching about maintaining peace in the universe and not wanting to wage a war against a new race. But now, he was suggesting attacking first. She slightly shook her head and thought to herself, "So much for wanting peace."

Captain David was not speaking anything but he thought that if there was any chance to save those hostages from the claws of the heartless berserkers, then he would take it.

The General looked determined about his plan and began to explain the reasoning behind his planning. "I was afraid to attack before because that would mean IGT Fed would be an enemy of that planet. And I was afraid that they might retaliate by attacking every other planet under IGT Fed's protection."
