章節 36: Chapter 36: A Third Year Friend
After Obed had finished his fight and was now leaving, Barns, a third-year student with earth and fire ability decided to go one on one with Life Sucker. Obed looked at Barns with a smile and accepted his challenge. Obed and burns stepped into the control game room and entered their keys. Soon, both had access to their characters and they waited for the game to start the countdown.
"3,2,1 Fight," said the machine. Obed was the first to attack. Barns had a thinking ability and could know which direction Obed was to throw his first punch. Barns managed to dodge and even blocked some of his punches. Now it was Barns's turn. Barns threw a couple of punches at Obed and it hit him on the face and the stomach. His punches are fast as lighting, said Obed. I can't block these. Obed's life was reduced drastically. I need to do something quickly. Obed then went back a little and activated his liquid ability. Obed now went beneath Barns and gave him a low blow. Obed punched Barns so hard that Barns exp reduced to 65 whiles Obed's exp was a 45.
Barns spat out some blood after Obed had given him a hard hit. Obed knew this was his chance, his final opportunity to finish Burns. As soon as Obed was about to rise in the air to his electric ability, Barns had other plans. He held Obed's legs which made him fall. Obed was hurt, seriously hurt. Michael, Joyce, Chris, Linda, and Florence came to the VR room and spotted Obed and Barns playing a fighting game on the screen. Obed's gonna win this time said, Michael. I don't think so, said Florence. The third-year user is the strongest in his year group. Obed is no match for him, she continued. Obed smiled at Burns and said, "preventing me from my ability." Just as Obed said that Barns had got up to his feet and formed a sword with fire and ice.
As soon as Burns raised high in the air ready to attack Obed, the screen went blank. A message appeared on the student's watches, power outage, would take more than a week before we can get the light fixed. "WHAT, " said Linda a week. Obed then turned to look at Barns and smiled. "Nice match," said Obed. "I believe you won this match," he continued. "I don't think so," said Barns. "Maybe you could have dodged," he continued. A message appeared on Obed's system and it read
Don't forget you have a demonic power and your pet Wood. It's a pleasure to fight with you Barns, said Obed. Barns then smiled at Obed and said, "Anytime Life Sucker." "I'm in the Fourth-floor room 347," he continued. "If you're free, u can meet me there," he continued. "Sharp," said Obed. Michael, Joyce, Linda, Chris, and Florence gathered around Obed. "What happened," said Michael. "Nothing," said Obed. "He just said me if we can be friends and also I can meet him if I'm free," said Obed.
"But this damn light has spoilt everything," said Linda. "I can't sleep in the dark, I'm scared," said Linda. "Don't be scared, I'm with you," said Chris. A smile then came on Linda's face and hugged him tightly. "Uhhhhhhh, Linda, we're in the midst of people," said Chris. "Ooh, sorry," said Linda. "Shall we head back to our bass," said Obed. As they were going, a notification with a blinking red light appeared on Obed's system. Obed checked it out and said, beware a demonic bird is on its way.
