章節 28: Chapter 28 Battle trial 1
Rex was changing his costume when he heard exploding head.
"Oi robot guy, I am going to beat you," Bakugo said.
"I am waiting, explosives," Rex said with a smile and noticed Bakugo's hero costume. Black eye mask and sleeveless shirt and pants but the most noticing thing were his two grenades on his arms. "Your hero costume is looking good but, do not go America with this costume or they will kick you out," Rex said with a chuckle.
"Huh my hero costume is be- what did you say?!" Bakugo realized the sarcasm in middle and yelled.
"Easy, easy…" Kirishima calmed them.
"Oh hey Kirishima, your costume looks cool like hero Crimson Riot," Rex said looking at Kirishima.
"Oi don't ignore me!" Bakugo said.
"Thanks, man. He is my favorite hero. Yours awesome too." Kirishima said.
"Bastard!"
Rex was wearing a similar jacket and pants like Original Rex but it was dark blue in color with a black t-shirt underneath. He thought that it would be weird if he changes the style so he came with the same style. He also has two additional pieces of equipment. One is a gun attached to his waist which can shoot wire attached with a hook which he can use to anchor any object he grabs. Another thing is a mask. It was similar to the mask of Star Lord from Guardians of Galaxy but was blue.
He used Technopathy deformed the mask. "Thanks, Kirishima."
"Did that mask just disappear?" Kirishima widened his eyes. Bakugo also felt it was cool.
"No, it is stored in a clip on-ear. I can form it anytime using my quirk." He said and formed mask again.
"Mine is still cooler," Bakugo said.
"…"

All might was waiting for students when he heard footsteps and students started to emerge from the gate. All Might thought that Rex's costume would be like his mother Bishamon, a mechanical armor or something but it was simple but his mask looked cool.
"Pff!" All Might coughed. 'WHAT THE FUC- I mean WHAT THE HELL MIDORIYA? YOU ARE SO OBVIOUS! Yeah, that was it.' All Might thought looking at his disciple and successor wearing rabbit looking costume.
"Let's see what you're made of young heroes! It's time for the trial of battle!!" All Might said.
"Oh hey, Rex." Rex heard a feminine voice and saw Momo and Kyoka coming this way.
"Hey, Momo. Your hero costume looks better. I am guessing that goggles are working well?" Rex praised his fiancée.
Momo was wearing a red-colored leotard with long black boots and gloves with red stripes. She was also wearing a visor on her eyes. She also has a belt where she can store calories tablets.
"Yes, it's very good. Especially this visor. It allows easy access to schematics just by thinking. I am so glad I asked you for help." Momo said with a smile.
"And I also found this." Kyoka gave a Rex a chit.
"Jiro!" Momo blushed.
Rex confusedly looked at chit.
[To my new daughter-in-law, I have prepared this costume according to your quirk. *Rex will like it.* Your father-in-law, Yato Kinzoku.]
Rex shuddered and wanted to kill Yato for this. He and Momo looked at Jiro with pleading eyes.
Kyoka waved her hand and swipe her lips like closing a zip saying that she won't tell anyone and sighed. She didn't know why she sighed.
"Sensei! Are we using mock-city from the entrance exam?" Ida asked.
"No this will be an indoor battle!" All Might said then continued, "Villain cleanups are usually seen out in the campus but statistically, the better part of it is the indoor job. Most acts of villainy are committed indoors."
Rex chuckled silently when he heard the word 'villainy' instead of 'crime'.
"Backroom deals… home invasion… secret underground layers… truly intelligent criminals will stay in the shadows." All Might said and added, "for this training exercise, you will split into 2 teams of good guys and bad guys, and fight 2vs2 indoor battles."
"Is this foundational training?" Tsuyu asked.
"This IS foundational training mam!" All might said then continued to explain, "This time there won't be any robots but actual people."
"So how do we determine the winner?"
"Is it okay if I just blow them away?"
"Are we getting expelled if we fail?"
"What will be the best way to split into two groups?"
"Doesn't my cape look Good~ on me…?"
"What is the cost of making this area?"
"For fu-god's sake, I don't have hearing quirk!!" All Might coughed then took out a script.
Rex heard from Bisha that All Might is a loser in remembering things but seeing his reading from the script proved it.
"For this training, villains will be guarding nuclear weapons intended on deploying and heroes must stop them! Heroes have to capture villains or touch nuclear weapons before the time runs out or it will be villains who win." All Might said and took out a box, "Your teammates and opponents will choose by drawing lots!"
"Is that really the best way?!" Ida wanted to complain.
"It's better that way. It allows us to plan with the situations given." Rex said.
"Interesting." Ida nodded.
"Anyway let's start this!" All Might said.
One by one, all the students started to draw a lot. Rex's team was team C.
"Hey, we are on the same team." Momo came forward and said.
"Yeah, let's rock and roll!" Rex said and raised his hand.
"Yes…" Momo also helplessly cheered.
"And the first two pair to do combat will be the following!"
Pair A heroes
Pair B Villains
Rex shook his head. It was fire versus ice. He looked at Bakugo and said, "Looks like your battle with me will have to wait."
"Tch. I will crush him then you!" Bakugo said.
"Dude, is there a stick stuck in your ass? Think calmly or you will even lose to him." Rex said pointing at Midoriya who panicked when heard this.
"Screw you! That damn nerd stands no chance against me!" Bakugo said and went with Ida to the designated room.
"I think Bakugo has a pretty solid chance to win." Kirishima who heard this said.
"Nah he will most likely lose. I don't think a winner or loser will classify your result but the way you perform." Rex said.
All Might have to say Rex is intelligent like his father and good predicting ability like Bishamon.
"All right class, we will see the battle from the observation room." All Might said leading all the students to the observation room.
