'These damned beasts.' Lux grunted in pain as he was holding his left arm that was pierced by one of Cartilagios' tentacles after he used the other two Forgotten Beasts as bait.

He was already quite exhausted, and the last thing he wanted was to get injured at this important moment.

Swiftly using Regeneration to heal his left arm that had a small hole inside, Lux's eyes blazed with fury as he glanced at the three beasts.

His biggest threat right now was Cartilagios who seemed to be capable of stealing his own race' energy and using it to either heal or improve himself.

As such, Lux had a hard time trying to figure out a way to get rid of the three beasts, without getting trapped.

If he went after Cartilagios, the other two beasts were free to attack him from any direction.

But if he went after those two, the talking beast was going to take his chance and gravely injure him.
