"If I am going to be honest with you, I do not recall our conversation though I do remember having it."

Shen raised an eyebrow, a bit surprised.

"Ah, I suppose it isn't the most memorable thing for you, though the words have stuck with me for quite a long time. The ever-changing flow of a person is something so complicated, yet so interesting at the same time."

"I take it that you've seized control over most people within the kingdom by now?"

Shen let out a hum while tilting his head to the side.

"I wouldn't exactly say seize control, perhaps more... the ability to guide intentions. Though there are several people I am unable to see through no matter how deep I attempt to delve into their waters."

He turned to me, and while his eyes were closed it seemed as though he was looking right at me.

"And that includes you."

The corner of my lip turned up.
