Mall...
"Big sister, look at this, it's really cute!" Rain said while holding a dress and a shirt. "I'll buy this!" Rain continued as she walk to the cashier. "But we don't know yet the genders of our little ones and you've bought those clothes." Alexa said looking at the bags she and Rain we're carrying. Rain bought dresses, shirts, and many others that were good for both male and female. "I bet that my godchildren are a boy and a girl. And if not, you'll still have time to make another." Rain said winking at Alexa that made the latter blushed. Rain giggled when she saw the redness on Alexa's face. "Are you tired?" Rain asked. "I'm still fine, why?" Alexa asked. "Then, let's go there." Rain said pointing the toy store. Alexa just followed her soon to be sister-in-law with a smile in her face. She thought that her little ones will be spoil buy their aunt. While looking for toys, Rain received a text message form her big brother . "It's almost done, where are you?" "We're still here." She replied. "Ok, after 30 minutes, you cannproceed here." John texted. "Hey, Rain, come here." Alexa said and walk towards Alexa. After buying toys for the twins, they walked towards an ice cream stand. Alexa was craving for an ice cream. "What do your want big sister?" Rain asked. "Hmmmm... I want this, this, and this." Alexa said that made Rain looked at her with a puzzled face. Alexa chose pistachio, blueberry, and chocolate flavoured ice cream. Alexa excitedly got her ice cream and tasted it. "How was it?" Rain asked. "It's delicious, wanna try?" Alexa said and Rain's jaw dropped. Alexa laughed and said, "Our little ones have weird tastes." Yeah, i must prepare myself to find authentic food that they will ask from me." Rain said and chose a mango flavoured ice cream. After they finished their ice cream, they went out of the mall and rode the car. "I'll just get something from our alma mater. The dean said, she will give something to me." Rain said. "Ok, I'll just txt your brother that will return late." Alexa said and start texting a message for John.
"They're on their way here. Let's prepare." Bella said after reading Alexa's text message from the cellphone of John. John became more nervous. He felt uncomfortable and had butterflies in his stomach. "Relax, bro, Alexa won't say no." Mike said calming his cousin. John simply nodded.
"We're already there." Rain texted Myra.
"They're almost near, turn off the lights." Myra said and the campus became dark. The only light than can be seen was on the guard house.
Rain's car entered the campus. "Why are there no lights?" Alexa asked. "I don't know." Rain aswered. "Let's go." Rain continued. "I can't see anything." Alexa said afraid that she may bump into something. "Here, hold this." Rain said giving her a lighted candle. Alexa looked puzzled. "I'll go to the dean's office." Rain said. "You'll leave me here?" Alexa said with worries in her face. "Give me 5 minutes and I'll go back immediately." Rain said. "Ok." Alexa said even she's feeling nervous. Alexa is afraid of the dark. Though she's holding a lighted candle, it's dark all over the place.
When Rain left Alexa, she immediately went to her place. Suddenly a music started to play. Alexa heard it and she became aware of her surroundings. She started to walk towards the place the music was playing. While walking, she stepped on a red carpet that made her puzzled. She continued walking and then found a path lighted with candles along it. At the end of the lighted candles, she saw people holding her favorite flowers. Alexa put down the candle she was holding and she walked towards them and when she reached them, they gave the flowers to her one by one. First on the line were her high school friends, followed by her co staffs, Bella, Myra, Rain, and Mike. She was unaware that tears kept falling from her eyes. Also, her parents and John's parents were also there. When she reached her mother, they hugged each other. "I'm happy for you sweetheart, dad and mom love you so much." Her mom whispered that made her cried more. When she was a little calmer, her mother got the roses from her hands. Her dad held her hands and they both walked towards a tree. The tree that was the first living proof of the love that blossomed through the years.
