"Are you fine? Does it still hurt? Should I help you?",Masahiko asked in one breath.
Yes, he was worried and this was definitely not a pretense, at least to the eyes of Yuqi, Hotaru and Kaito. However Sosuke did not waver from the thought that his emotions were fake.
"No. You don't need to help her. As you can see there is no possible way left to help her. So why don't you make way!", Sosuke said. No matter how rude he sounded, what he said was partially right.
Yuqi punched Sosuke's back lightly and widened her eyes, this was a way she had adapted to communicate with Sosuke when his behavior was unacceptable.
"I am fine now It doesn't hurt as much. Thank you for worrying about me and Sosuke didn't mean anything by that.",she said calmly.
"Oh! As long as you are okay. But how are you going home, should I take you?",he asked politely.
The moment he asked this question, Kaito nudged Hotaru and they silently slipped away from the tension that was building up in the group and decided to just head home first.
Yuqi did notice those two going but before she could ask them, she thought she should answer Masahiko first. But the moment she was about to reply, Sosuke cut in.
"She is coming with me. We live together.",he replied bluntly, with a straight face.
Masahiko's face turned grim, it made no god damn sense!
This time the hit on Sosuke's back was loud and hard.
"We are neighbours! He meant to say that. Our houses are literally beside each other. But †hank you for asking!",Yuqi explained hurriedly.
Before Masahiko could react or reply, Sosuke held Yuqi securely and said,"Can you please stop blocking the way!".
He pushed Masahiko and made his way. Yuqi had never felt that embarrassed. What the hell had gotten into this guy!!, she thought.
