She pouted. "Lucas will definitely scold me if he hears that word from me."

"I think brothers will always be like that. I don't want to hear those words from Caroline either. Maybe in a way when she talks about boys. I'll kill the guy."

She giggled while shaking her head. "I'm serious about Caroline. I know you could never forget Mireya, especially now that Elijah can see her and can communicate with her. But you still have another sister and she's alive. You can see her, talk to her, scold her, protect her, and love her. Make some time for her, Caden."
