About ten minutes later, Eli drove his car to a restaurant's parking lot and Jackson followed him. They all got out of their respective vehicles and made their way to the restaurant they found. This time, Belle gave way to Ceres and allowed her to spend time with her sworn brother. 

"Fake," Ceres mumbled, and Jackson took this signal from her. This was their code word to know that the current soul using the body was Ceres. "Were you bored on your way here?" 

"A little," Jackson answered while rubbing her hair messily. "I thought I would be able to spend more time with you. I didn't expect that they would come along." 

"Neither do I," Ceres whispered. 

Noticing how close they were and to the point that they'd have to whisper to each other, Eli felt uncomfortable. Even though Jackson said that he has no other intentions for Belle aside from befriending her, he was still wary of the man.
