章節 223: The Elder Lich

The ghoul stood up on its hind legs and stuck its slippery black tongue out to intimidate its opponent, but it had no effect on the Elder Lich. Instead of backing out of the fight, it held its ground, maintaining the same cold composure on its unfeeling face.

Raising its left hand, the Elder Lich whispered an archaic incantation. Immediately, the black rose floated up, and its petals wilted, leaving behind just its dry, thorny stem.

The ghoul thought it was just another trick to distract it and ignored it completely. With a hungry growl, it bounded across the craterous terrain and pounced on the skeletal spell caster.

But before the ghoul could touch the Elder Lich, it was suddenly teleported back to its starting location. Shocked and confused, it looked at the ground and then lifted its head to stare at the Lich standing a few feet away from it.
