Desmond had to kiss her first. The words she had been saying since they came into the guest chambers were dizzying to him. 

He wondered if he had fallen into a dream and if he would wake up extremely unsatisfied just as the climax was about to peak. That had been his reality multiple times in the past. 

However, as he broke the kiss and looked down at his gorgeous wife, her hesitant expression was awake Leonor and not the lewd version in his dreams. She was saying words of confidence but her body language was speaking of uncertainty. He heard what she wanted but he knew he was going to have to take the initiative for it to ever happen. 

"I love you, Leonor," he whispered. "My life. My entire world." 

She was bursting at the seams, living in a love so sweet she didn't know it existed a few years prior. She knew his reemergence in her life was fate. They were people meant to be together no matter the odds.
