Jared had never known his heart could sink so deeply until he saw the broken look on Ariana's face as she stood a few inches away from him. 

The fact that she was trying her best to put up a bold facade made him feel even more guilty than he wanted.

Jared had been in his office when he saw the news of the new product launch. He wasn't surprised because his father had told him they were planning a secret project but he never knew it was going to be so soon and also, for the cosmetics line.

The Antianos industry wasn't that fond of cosmetics so the brand they had for such products hadn't been doing brilliantly in sales either so he thought cosmetics was a lost game for them.

It was only a few hours later after he had called Ariana and found out she was also releasing her products into the market today that he felt something fishy.
