The screen on her laptop materialized into Jared sitting down and staring right back at her. Her breath hitched a little when she couldn't help but notice how handsome he looked even at this hour.

"Hey, sorry for the sudden call, was feeling a little bored here," Jared said and she couldn't help but frown a little.

So he called me because he was bored?! And not because he wanted to talk to me?

"It's okay, how are you doing?" She asked, not wanting to sound like a desperate girlfriend.

"I'm good, slept the entire afternoon and now, not feeling so sleepy anymore," Jared shrugged as he ran his hands through his hair.

"But someone seems ready to go to bed," Jared gestured to her outfit and Ariana scowled.
