Jared cursed under his breath when he heard his father walking down the stairs towards him.
He stood his ground despite his heart racing as he didn't know the answer to give his father.
He had come home late and drunk. Both were not something his father would be pleased with.
"Are you just coming home, Jared?" Romano asked as he walked towards him.
"U-Uh, yes, Dad," Jared scratched his head as he answered.
"And you are aware of the time?" Romano frowned as he looked down at him.
Jared took a look at his mother next to him for a little help because he felt his father was already getting angry.
"Oh, you know how it gets when you're with the boys. Don't make it a big deal," Sophia waved as she walked towards her husband to lay her hand on his shoulder.
"A big deal? You should be talking to your son," Romano gritted as he looked down at his wife.
