"Dad!!" Jared called as he ran after his fuming father. 

"Dad, wait up," Jared sighed as he tried to catch up with the old man.

Reporters and guests turned towards him as they passed by but Jared paid no attention to them.

"I can not believe that insolent girl could humiliate me like that!" Romano stopped as they got to a corner in the hall.

"Dad, calm down," Jared muttered but it seemed his father couldn't hear him at all.

"She literally just called me a thief in front of David! How dare she?!" His father hissed and Jared saw a few people looking their way.

"Dad, you need to lower your voice, you are drawing attention towards us," Jared murmured as he walked closer to his father.

"And besides, you have no reason to be so upset. Ariana, I mean, she tried to make peace with you," he uttered gently, not wanting to aggravate Romano's anger more.
