So many things wrong urgh. TW:RAPE FL is raped by ML bc of a scheme by FL's friend's dad aka it should have been the friend that was raped. BUT THEN FL thinks it's a dream, friend got lucky and doesn't tell her the truth, and ML falls in love with FL. Sidenote: This friend isn't as obviously evil as in other novels with the schemes. FL likes her a lot. They're still close after the incident. But as a reader I'm like..HOW DO YOU NOT TALK ABOUT THE RAPE?? So she's an enemy in my eyes tbh FL is annoyingly dumb and innocent. Definitely a weak lead. Doesn't seem like she'll get stronger. ML will probably be doing all the power moves behind the scenes. Meh.

The novel started of with the usual rape scene., The father of the FL's friend had thought to "gift" his daughter to the ML (ai mean, who does that). Unfortunately, the FL's friend went to a audition and asked the FL as a stand in. Well I am not too optimistic in this novel given the start of it. 😐😐 You can try it out we all have different preferences.
The plot seems a little twisted... ML is satisfied with the s**ual experience with someone unconscious? FL is so naive to not realize that she has lost her virginity to a stranger while unconscious and thought it was a wet dream? Best friend didn't reveal the ugly truth to FL even if it was her family's fault. Nevertheless, I wanna know more and hope this gets continued. I dont want to waste my FPs in unlocking the chapters if WN ends up dropping it. 😊

**Review as of 60 chapters** So far, it seems like this is a novel with an older love story theme about a normal office working FL and CEO ML. From the excerpt it seems like eventually she becomes his secretary. I think this will be a light hearted read with some dramatic moments to keep it going. I do feel like it'll be quite mediocre if the author doesn't spice it up with the plot. I pushed through the 60 chapters to see if there was something special about this and there really wasn't. The characters weren't too special nor was the plot. I do have some complaints about the plot already. I do feel like it leaves a loophole in the plot. As a web novel reader I can't just not comment about it. 1. He does rape her without her consent when she's drunk. Yet she doesn't seem to know she got raped. Her body was sore and there was blood evidence and she concluded it was her period. Which makes no sense in that her character is supposed to be smart and she would know that she would be leaking still, not just for that night. I'm sure her women part would be in pain as well. Author made the FL brush it aside and then it was a case closed kind of thing. Good thing is that so far he hasn't raped her again. Hopefully no more of those. 2. The whole ball is so childish and ridiculous written out. A company that is supposed to be prestigious holds an award ceremony that eventually becomes this petty ball to show off partners and if you don't have one you get belittled. I don't get the point of this and how it's relevant at all. 3. We're never really told why the FL wants to work in ML's company. All it mentioned was FL saying it's a prestigious company. Doesn't really add depth and make one feel like she needs to work there. 4. How does she mistaken him for a bodyguard in his full suit outfits that are limited editions? Then proceeds to see him in the distance surrounded by his workers and say that person can't be him since it seems like that person is an important person eluding authority. The ML never shows a different side in front of her, so how does she conclude that they can't be the same person when they elude the same aura? That's it guys. I've spoiled a lot and ranted a lot but I do actually enjoy these overdone themes in web novels. However it just has to be done right to keep me going through the 1000+ chapters. We are entitled to our opinions so, read it yourself and you might like it.

I couldn't get past the rape. The ML raped an unconscious woman who made zero response and he feels very pleased with himself. It doesn't matter if the story is good or not, I feel dirty just thinking of supporting this kind of author who thinks that love and romance should start with rape. DISGUSTING!!!
