As the elevator doors opened, he intentionally blocked the door with his arm and only followed in after Jiajia entered. "Which floor do you live on?" He asked.

"Fifteenth floor." Ye Jiajia had already pressed the button for the fifteenth floor. She then withdrew to the corner of the elevator, tucking in some loose strands of her hair behind her ear, and lowered her head cautiously.

The light inside the elevator was so bright, it exposed Ye Jiajia's shy, flushed cheeks entirely. Gu Xu captured every ounce of her nervousness.

He followed her into the corner, stood in front of her, looked down at her, slightly rubbed her head, and asked, "Jiajia, are you scared of me?"

"No, not at all." She shook her head, lowered it even more. It looked like she was staring at her toes, but she must have been afraid of something.
