章節 66: Very Grateful

Selene was seated on the bed, the pillow on her lay as she waited for Xavier to finish washing up. There was no way she was going back to sleep in her room where Edna and Miranda had just been violated by those men they had sent for her. 

Xavier didn't let her either, so he arranged for another room where they would sleep together. 

Selene had been surprised when she saw Xavier at the villa. She had been a little mad at him earlier for neither texting nor even calling her. He apologized, saying he was planning on surprising her instead. And she was indeed surprised by his presence. 

She could hear the shower rushing from the bathroom. Xavier was taking a long time in the bathroom, and she couldn't help but wonder if he took that much time every day just by taking a shower.
