The very next day, Anastasia was woken up with a big bowl of cold water splashed on her body. 

Out of fright, she jumped up, thinking they were under some kind of attack, or if her rescuers had arrived. 

Anastasia blinked, disoriented, trying to shake off the remnants of her grogginess. 

She opened her mouth to respond, but the words got stuck in her throat under the weight of Samantha's piercing gaze, which seemed to hold an explosive fury, barely restrained.

Anastasia quickly wiped off the water on her face.

"I didn't…" She drawled, trying to catch her breath. Her heart had nearly leaped out of her chest thinking she'd been drowning in her sleep. "I'm sorry," she quickly added, staring down at the huge bowl where the water had come from.
