"I didn't," Michelle replied, deadpan this time though she was rubbing her hands together as they got wet with her sweat. 

Martha stared at her as if she knew how about her games. Which was terrifying. 

"We aren't sure if it was Michelle," director Jeunes interrupted. He also suspected Michelle but there wasn't any evidence. 

Mace and Katherine gave each other a look, before they continued with the interview. 

But Liam and Martha were asked their questions. As soon as Liam opened his mouth to speak, his fans went crazy. It took a while before he was able to calm them down so that he could speak. 

Meanwhile, in Xavier's office, he glared at his tablet when he saw Liam speaking. He was watching the interview the moment it started because Selene mentioned it the previous night while they were having dinner.
