"What are you doing here?" Xander questioned, already sensing the presence of that person. 

"I came to see you," the person replied. "Is it wrong to see my son?"

"You've long disowned me as your son, so you shouldn't call me that, Mr. Wallace," Xander countered. 

His voice was devoid of any warmth or attachment, a hollow tone meant for a stranger, not a father. Behind him, his father watched with a faint smirk curling on his lips, as if amused by the distance between them.

"You shouldn't speak to your father like that, Xander," Mr. Wallace said, stepping closer until he stood directly in front of him. He exchanged a knowing look with Bruce—a silent message that passed between them before he returned his gaze to Xander. "I came to commend you for your recent upload. She deserved every bit of it."
