"What did you just say to me?" He questioned, glaring harder as if it was possible to make her disappear from his sight at that moment. "Didn't your parents teach you some manners, girl?"

"My parents taught me pretty good manners. I can assure you of that. But they mentioned I should never let myself be stepped on by some reputable cocky old man," she responded, her hand folded around her chest as she returned his glare.
