The fact that there were people who cared for her and celebrated her would be a big turn-on - Sheila's words. Declan had swallowed his objections and gone along with it, but now he was in charge of blindfolding her.

"Are we there yet?" Mia's voice was small and filled with excitement. Ever since she announced her return to work, she had been in a brighter mood, and Declan was convinced Sheila was right. The surprise party was going to be good for her.
