Just minutes away from the workshop after dropping Annabella off with the nanny at her house, Natalie was struck by a splitting headache. She suppressed a groan and pressed her thumb and index fingers against her closed eyes then rubbed them in an attempt to get rid of the pain without drawing attention to herself.

"What's wrong, Natalie? Another headache?"

It was impossible to hide her pain from someone as perceptive as her husband; his eyes are always on me. She was trying to force a smile, but her lips downturned at the corners, "...Learning about your life partner's betrayal is definitely headache material, don't you think?"

He clicked his tongue and glanced away muttering something under his breath. Though he looked her way again, he avoided direct eye contact.

"Just look at you, hands shaking, knees trembling. But do I even have the right to be upset over this?" He sighed. "Should you really see him when you're this angry?"
