A minute passed by, and there was no sign of the old woman getting up from her place; there was not even a single change in expression that might help me think she was messing me.

I realized, to my greatest horror, the old woman is really too focused on her practice to hear anything. Seeing that I wanted to scream at her, but I couldn't do that either, the pressure was so much that I could even open my mouth; all I could do was let out weird painful noises.

Seeing, no help will come from the old woman, I begin to assess my options. I have only two options of surviving, one healing energy and rule power I am employing to slow down my injuries, and the other is my bloodline energy which is I am circulating at a pace slower than the snail.
